We are excited to present Responsibly Ventures, a PreSeed VC Fund based in California, focused on US startups in both *Social and Sustainable Tech*. If your team is gearing toward VC and Impact, and you’re passionate about Sustainability or Social Good — we want to connect. As the General Partner to the fund, I’m truly honored to present our official launch, allowing for public solicitation — under the SEC 506c designation.
We’ve brought together an incredible group of Operators / Family Offices / Angels / Founders / LPs who are aligned with our vision: The future of venture capital is positive. We’ve backed remarkable teams, such as PEEP, Baqloop, Atelier, Sustaio, Climatize, and Thrive Lot.
As an additional reference to the estimated fund stats above, my personal Angel portfolio has continued to outperform top-decile VC funds from 2019, until present (*80% IRR on 40+ private Angel investments, with 84% of startups with one or more underrepresented Founders [Estimated 10/15/2021]).
We are proud to support the efforts of the United Nations by backing startups that we believe will help guide us toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We take a multiple SDG factor approach to each new opportunity. I believe my background as a former Environmental Economist, Data Scientist, and CoFounder contributes to our continued success.

On my why as a VC impact investor: I grew up in the San Juan Islands in the PNW, in an off-the-grid Japanese style home, designed by my father. Through my world travels and living in Scandinavia during my early 20’s, I discovered a deep love for people, planet, and diverse cultures.
For the past decade, I’ve independently produced hundreds of podcasts and live events on VC impact, Sustainable Tech, and Social Tech.
